Hemant Chauhan

Hemant Chauhan is a prominent Gujarati folk singer known for his soulful and devotional music. Hemant Chauhan started his music career in the 1970s. Some of his most popular songs include “Tara Vina Shyam”, “Pankhida O Pankhida”, “Sachi Re Mari Satre Bhavani Maa”, and “Gujarati Garba”, He has received several awards for his work, including the Gujarat State Award for Best Folk Singer in 2003. He has also been honored by the Government of India with the prestigious Padma Shri award in 2021 for his contributions to music.
