Arvind Barot

Arvind Barot is a renowned Gujarati folk singer and musician who has made a significant contribution to the Gujarati music industry. Arvind Barot started his music career in the 1960s and has since then become a prominent figure in Gujarati folk music. Some of his most popular songs include “Maa Baap Ne Bhulsho Nahi”, “Mara Ghat Ma Birajta Shrinathji”, “Lili Lembdi”, and “Maa No Garbo Re”. He has received several awards for his work, including the Gujarat State Award for Best Folk Singer in 2002. He has also been honored by the Government of India with the prestigious Padma Shri award in 2020 for his contributions to music.
